How to start music production? - the easiest way

Well, I got to know this hard way. Let's roll it:

Understand the music is layered (drums, vocals, bass, etc.)
Get to know rythm patterns and how they’re connected to popular music genres
Choose DAW (I’d suggest GarageBand, since it’s free and has tons of free content)
Learn by doing. Progress by doing small steps. Try recreating some songs.
Create your style - the best producers can be recognized only by effects or tools they’re using
Understand music production process as a whole (assembly, mixing, recording, etc.)

PS. Learn music theory and have fun all the time!

Also as an extra tip: YouTubers are content creators, don’t trust on them unless you know that they are true professionals and know what they do and talk about.
